FAMILY TIES

By methodic and repititive work I´m trying to build something bigger - a larger whole - by combining many small shapes. You might say that I´m building my family history piece by piece...

This piece is built out of 1.700 strips of white paper. Every strip is then shaped to a form consisting of a small and a large loop to represent the the relationship between a mother and a daughter - my mother and I.
